MAYOR SYED SALAR JEHAN

In November 2024, Mayor Jehan took part in a Cultural Exchange & Economic Development visit to the Jersey Shore, which included scheduled meetings and site visits in Asbury Park, Brookdale Community College, and attendance at the New Jersey League of Municipalities Annual Conference in Atlantic City. The trip was centered on exploring and sharing best practices that foster community engagement and economic development at the Jersey Shore and in his home District of Buner. Mayor Jehan's visit highlighted a mutual dedication to exploring initiatives that strengthen cultural, educational, and economic connections between the United States and Pakistan.


Mayor Syed Salar Jehan, a prominent leader from Gagra, Pakistan, hails from a politically and socially established family in Buner District, known for their unwavering commitment to community welfare. His dedication to public service and the trust he has earned from his constituents reflects his deep-rooted connection to the community.
